Our Story

A small kitchen with a 
very big heart

Ravynne’s Crumbs is a home based bakery working under the cottage kitchen law, which means we stay small on purpose and keep a short, focused menu. Our signature brownies are the most requested — and we’re always developing new variations. Alongside them we bake breads and cookies.

Everything is made from scratch. The only things that don’t start here are ingredients like milk, flour and extracts — nothing comes from a box. Most of the recipes were passed down through generations, then tweaked until they were truly my own.

Maria “Ravynne” Shaffer

I’ve lived in Florida my whole life, and baking has always been my passion — my stress reliever, and the thing that quiets my anxiety (go figure). I’ve always worked multiple jobs to provide for my family.

Now that my boys are getting older, and with the support of my amazing husband Jeff, I finally get to pour myself into what I love. I still have a full time job I enjoy, but this is the passion I want to carry with me all the way into retirement.
